    Murali, we use the Enterprise Adapter Manager instead of the Adapter config tool. The Adapter Manager tool can remotely create/configure/manage adapter. You cannot do this with the Adapter config tool.
    Have a look at the “webMethods Enterprise Adapter Manager Installation Guide - version 4.6” (EntAdapterManagerInstallGuide.pdf) and the “webMethods Enterprise Adapter Manager User Guide - version 4.6” (webMethods_Enterprise_Adapter_Manager_User_Guide_v4.pdf)

    The instructions are straightforward.
