It's called to execute Windows native code paths by IBM i ACS that are more efficient and work more as client's expect than the pure Java solution. That along with acsnative.dll is required to be next to the Windows asclaunch*.exe for using IBM i ACS as expected on Windows.
The exe is needed by users of STRPCCMD.

It's just that the file seems to be new. And our system is reporting the file as suspicious because it's not whitelisted. And then I got curious because it's working fine withoute the file. At the same time the name seems to be something to do with the command STRPCCMD.If someone knows anything about what the file is for it would be nice.
