6.1 to 6.5 migration - issues??

• 1.  6.1 to 6.5 migration - issues??

Posted Wed February 14, 2007 09:22 AM

Hello All:

We are in the process of upgrade (IS, Broker, Modeler, Mainframe, TN, adapters (JDBC, EJB)) from 6.1 to 6.5.

I have gone through the migration documents in the Advantage site and am more or less sure of what needs to be done for the migration/steps that need to be taken.

My questions are:
(i) Are there any migration problems or issues from 6.1 to 6.5 migration?
(ii) Are there any Deprecated Services in 6.5,
(iii) Are there any precautions etc that needs to be taken?
Any inputs would be highly appreciated.

Regards,
N

—No as far as with WmPublic services in IS 6.5 SP1…
—Yes for SP2,there are few new services/enhancements added in 6.5 SP2 for WmART,wmpublic services for enhanced ldap, for safe storage of user defined outbound passwords etc…

Yes.

The pub.ldap:* services have been deprecated and replaced by pub.client.ldap:* services as of IS 6.5 SP2.
