Thanks Jon. The second I open SPSS it generates "output 1" with all those errors,and I think you're right about the extension locations being the source of the error. I ran the "SHOW EXTPAHTS" command and it has extensions in two different folders.
One of them is is under my user name/appdata/roaming/IBM/SPSS/Statistics/28/extensions while the other is is under C:/Program-2/SPSS/extensions. I'll try move locations and see if that makes a difference.

I have a suspicion about the cause of this, but I don't know exactly what happens on startup.
The error is indicating that Statistics is getting a bad location for the installed extension files.
What is the name of the directory where Statistics is installed?
What is the name of your account on the new system?
This would usually be the second part of C:\users\...

Hi All. I get the below error message whenever I open SPSS; the error occurs regardless of whether I open an existing file or start a new project. I tried reinstalling SPSS and the error remains. Note: I am currently using Windows 11 but if I install it to my old Windows 10 pc, the error disappears so it might be a Windows 11 issue?
