  • 1.  CTABLES Syntax Timing Out?

    Hi all,

Quick question -- I'm using some pretty basic CTABLES syntax and keep running into the same problem, which is that the processor times out and fails to generate any tables. In the processor area I see "Running CTABLES..." but there isn't ever any actual output. Is there a limit to the number of variables you're able to include? Currently working with about 600.

    Thanks,
    Arthur

There aren't any limits, but you aren't putting 600 variables in one table, are you?

Be sure the measurement levels for the variables going into the table are correct.  If you have as scale variable with, say, 1000 different values and put it in the table, you are asking for an enormous table, which would take a long time to render.

Hi. I'm not familiar with any such problem or limitation.

It would help if I could see your syntax, just to get an idea what you are doing. Could you please post that here or send it to me privately? marcantr@us.ibm.com

    Thanks.
