  • 1.  Chi-square test of independence to compare variables with more than 2 categories

    Hello,

    Is there a way to run a Chi-square test of independence properly when there are several (>20%) expected counts less than 5 while comparing variables with more than 2 categories (e.g., 2 X 10 table) using SPSS? I would appreciate your input. Thanks.

    Hi. One possibility is using the Exact Tests option. See here for details.
