Hello everybody:
I'm Eng. Marcelo Ripoll - L3 Certified IT Specialist, Member of Technical Council Argentina.
I'm the Global Database Chief Engineer & Cognitive Analytics Leader from Application Hosting Services Engineering, GTS - WW Infrastructure Services Delivery.
I started the journey to data science on 2014 when starting to study and use Watson Analytics to solve a big data management problem and the creation of executive reports (dashboards) for 80 users around the globe every month with multiple selection criteria.
We started with a very simple dashboard about technical teams' workload for around 900 accounts and some months later, we had built about 47 dashboards with more than 218 graphics, 21 tables, 248 filters and 290 counters for some other reports such as: productivity or human resources analysis. My team won an OTAA award on 2018 for this project.

Then, as Watson Analytics was to be shutdown on July 2019, we were pushed to recreate all dashboards into Cognos Analytics performing a very deep re-engineering definition.
Today we are working to improve and created more Cognos Analytics Dashboard and reports automating current manual tasks at different reports.
I'm joining this group to exchange experiences, problems and solutions to improve the quality services for our customers.

Subject: New to the community? Introduce yourself
Welcome to the AI Learning community group! I am the community manager for the AI Learning group and overall Data Science community, and I look forward to supporting this group by monitoring feedback and questions, providing useful information and tools, and building out a vibrant ecosystem for users to get access to courses and education, share ideas and use cases, ask for advice, and troubleshoot.
A quick tour of what you'll see in the AI learning group:
Discussion: As the primary function for community, we invite all of our members to use the discussion board as a place to introduce yourselves, share some background on your experience, ask any questions or advice to other members and experts, or put out a call to action. Since we're brand new, I encourage everyone to reply to this thread with a brief introduction and how you've engaged in AI learning or intend to.
News: Here you'll find an integration of news sources relevant to learning, largely sourced from our community blogs, generated by both members and experts. If you're interested in becoming a blogger on IBM Community, please reach out to me here! The overall Community platform hosts over 100,000 members across 12+ different topic areas.
Learn resources: Want to dig into the skills and training? Start your IBM learning journey here, learn about badging and certifications, and browse articles and expert advice to help you get started in data science and AI. You can also check out the Data Science Community on-demand webinars to further your skillset. Are there any other resources you'd like to see here?
Courses: We offer free courses for our community members! Check out our current list of Data Science courses offered by IBM as well as our partner, Coursera. Stay tuned for other learning opportunities, including an open source data science learning curriculum, coordinated by IBM, UPenn and the Linux Foundation, launching soon. Interested in running a course or webinar? Drop me a line.
Support: Ask and answer questions in our discussion forum, get familiar with Coursera, and get Community support. Everything you need to get started on your learning journey is right here at your fingertips.
You'll also see a leaderboard on the left side of the home page. Earn points for every post that you contribute to or even read. There are plenty of achievement badges to collect!
