  • 1.  Issue - scp: Command not found

    Posted Tue April 02, 2024 01:20 PM

My job in datastage require scp command to copy a .tmp file from local to a remote machine. When I import the job to CP4D I receive the error sh: scp: command not found. I've tried a few work-around like using FTP stage to transfer the file but it doesnt seem like a good solution due to file format not being supported. Are there any commands that can replace scp available on CP4D or any way to copy a file from local to a remote machine ?

Can you check if you can place scp command onto one of the PV? For one of the customers we put sshpass to /mnts/tools/sshpass and it worked fine.

We use UBI image and by default most of those common unix utilities were stripped away.

Are we using the ubi standard out of the 4 different ubi options (ubi-micro, ubi-minimal, ubi standard, ubi-init)?

I believe it is UBI minimal.
