    Hello,

    Does anyone who has used MettleCI Workbench know how to resolve this initial login error?


    The InfoSphere Information Server v11.7.1.2 and the MettleCI Workbench are installed in my local VM (i'm using VMWare Workstation 16 Pro) with RHEL 8.

    The IIS repository, services and engine tiers are all installed in the VM. Both the WebSphere Application Server and MettleCI Workbench are running (as shown below) when I tried to login using the DataStage username and password that I supplied on the Workbench setup wizard.

    I am able login to the IBM InfoSphere Information Server Web console using the same DS username (isadmin) and password but NOT to the MettleCI Workbench login page. 

    Below snapshot shows WebSphere App Server is running.

    Here is the error message written in the "mci.log"

     ​Here is the snapshot of the entries in my MCI "config.yml" file
    Has anyone encountered the same login issue and was able to resolve it? Can you please share the steps of the fix?

    The reasons for this, and a workaround (until the release of MettleCI Fix Pack 1, due within the next few weeks) is documented here:

    Hi John McKeever,

    Thanks a lot for the feedback and suggestion. I was able to get through the login issue by setting the crypto policy value to LEGACY and updating the DS domain port in my  config.yml to 9443 (the port I used in the Workbench setup wizard to connect to Datastage). After restarting the MettleCI workbench service, I was able to login to MettleCI workbench using the IIS admin id.
