    I read with interest the article  on linkedIn about IBM Cloud PAk for Data 4.0.2.

    Since before our open public Beta was released as a SaaS service last December, our designers and developers have been hard at work building the drag-and-drop console for a web-based experience. We chose to develop our new, easy visual pipeline editor for creating data integration pipelines called flows on an open-source project ( Elyra).

    HOwever I am still not sure what would be the solution for stages that are already in use in premise jobs.   Not all stages are present in canvas when ?

    I tried the free trial account and could not see many presently used stages. Specifically Unstructured Stage, Hierrachical stage where we have trouble on-premise to use them without the third party flash drivers. 

    Also there may be little training needed even for experienced Datastage developers/admins, as I could not create a new job and such with ease in terms of navigation within the IBM Cloud PAk. 

    Overall happy to see Datastage aaS but there is more to do before it becomes a full fledged offering, atleast looking from the free trial account that's my take.

    Hi

    You may want to take a look at the roadmap to see when all the stages will be available and prioritise accordingly since we don't use all the stages.

    New stages will be added to DSaaS when it is available.
