I'm new to the community. 

i have this issue on Enterprise Replication between 2 servers.it just started no change to the system. if you do cdr list serv all servers is connected but if you check in the online log it keeps on saying server 1 disconnect and then reconnects again. no replication is happening to the 2 servers. all the other servers is working fine no problem. if you say issue a cdr stop repl *** from server 1 to server 2 it takes about 5 min to stop the repl. from all the other servers its instant stop.

11:36:45  CDR connection to server lost, id 23, name <grp_23_north>
Reason: connection lost
11:37:39  CDR: Re-connected to server, id 23, name <grp_23_north>

no we have checked for IP conflict nothing. we even reserved and excluded the IP from the scope

At this stage we will try anything to get to the bottom of this issue. just srtange all the other servers has no issue to the 2 said servers and visa versa only the 2 to each other

Immediately next: what version(s) are we talking about?

Then: any time pattern possibly, with those disconnects and/or reconnects?  Any coincidence possibly with e.g. load on one of the two disconnecting servers?

Finally: "cdr stop repl" should not depend on servers' connection status (it works locally only and creates request messages for work to be done on other servers, but wouldn't wait on their feedback.)  So something else might be going on ...
What exactly do you mean by "cdr stop repl *** from server 1 to server 2"  vs. "... from all the other servers"?
Is it:  you're running the cdr utility on server 1 using "--connect server2"?  With servers 1 + 2 being the ones disconnecting (so server 2 being grp_23_north)?

Replication working properly between the two servers and between the disconnects?
