  • 1.  Informix install and configuration on Google - GCE

     I need to do a POC with Informix on GCE to migrate (lift and shift) one of our small database's that is running on AIX / Informix 9.4. 
    I do not see a lot of or any information about installing and setting up Informix on GCE.   
    Has anyone tried this and have some tips and tricks?

    Kernoal:

    Paul and I oversaw an installation and port to GCE at a mutual client. No gotcha there. The only thing was getting communication working fast enough for the port.
