After installing a DB2 multi-partition database across three hosts, comprising a total of 12 nodes, I noticed that the memory on the third host was not utilized at all. This led to the cache pool I created not being effective, and the system continuously relied on DB2's built-in hidden cache pool, IBMSYSTEMBP32K. What could be the reason for this? Is it only possible to set up partitions in multiples of 8 or 16? I would greatly appreciate it if someone could clarify this confusion for me. Thank you.
