I install Database Conversion Workbench 5.0.1 and it does start, It is just stuck at the startup splash screen, sitting there doing nothing
with spinning wheel as shown below in screenshot.
It has started 4 background task in task manager, but still after 30mins nothing displays, see second screenshot.
No error messages reported, what is going on?
What do I need to get it to work?
Second question
I am migrating from IBM iSeries Db2 to Db2 AIX, old IBM iSeries version 5.xxx to AIX Db2 11.5
Can the DCW take the schema SQL script file I have generated on the iSeries using the Database Navigator and give me a break down
of how many tables, views etc.
If there are AQT/MQT etc
And how many statements are not compatible?
For example LABEL ON statements don't exist in DB2 AIX, so they would need to be modified to COMMENT ON.
It would be great if it could convert the statements, but if it can't I can do that easily with a sed script
All I really want is the analysis part so that I know how much work I will have to do.

IBM Data studio... this is very frustrating and annoying and not very inspiring or confidence building.
I download an .exe file when it did work yesterday....
IBM_DCW_Full_Client_Windows_5.0.1.exe approx 247MBytes
IT is not great that you can't get the links to download the correct software from, that is very poor
and it is such a basic think that it shouldn't be going to wrong the location.
