    1. Perhaps you have a corrupted download.  I would redownload a new one.
    2. Use "Run as Administrator" to open the exe.

    Hi Rex,

    I had a similar issue. During an informal chat with Mustapha, it downed on me it could be a dependency issue, so I took the time to install Docker Desktop on my Windows machine (Windows 10 pro) , as well as the WSL2 package docker requires.

    Even running as an admin it fails unzipping the design server.

    Installing TX launcher is fine, so I doubt my download is corrupted.

    Docker is not required to run Design Server on Windows.  The 4 components run as Service.
    Can you open a ticket with IBM to report this problem?  I'll follow up with support once you have the ticket number.

    Hello everyone,

    I had the same issue on the V11. I opened a ticket with the support and it turns out it's an issue on the French locale, because of a comma in the timestamp. It can be solved by changing the locale to English (paramètres régionaux in French) or with a clever but tricky workaround: editing the unzipDesignServer.bat script ,removing the block that checks for the log (lines 16 to 19) during the install, but before it is executed. So, as soon as the unzipDesignServer.bat file appears in the DesignServer install directory, edit and save it. It happens during the same step as its execution so you can't wait or pause it, but it's slow enough to be manageable.
