  • 1.  Issues while installing SBI 6.1.2 on Linux Machine

    Hi All,

    We are trying to install an IBM Sterling B2B Integrator 6.1.2 on Linux box using response file however post DB test connection successful, we are getting an error i.e. "File is a required data. You must specify a file".

    Error doesn't shows which file, can someone has an insights on this? Please help.

    Hi Shankar,

    Greetings. When ever you are executing the final commad for installation from a /bin folder make sure to mention the response file as the input file. 
    Hope it works. In case it doesn't please share the screenshot and add more information to understand better on the issue.

    looks like that you did not fill all required fields within your responsefile .
    only the IIM logs .log and .xml from the IIM data directory will tell you more.

    Hello,

    It looks like there might be a missing file reference within the installation process, which the error message isn't specifying. Please Double-check the configuration files or any additional setup steps outlined in the installation guide. Sometimes, errors like this can occur due to a misconfiguration or missing parameter in the response file itself.

    Please correct me if I'm wrong.
