I too am facing the same issue. Actually my IBM cloud account got cancelled, so when I tried apply a promo code to reactivate it, it would show the following error:
Server error. Try again or contact IBM Cloud Support. I looked up on the IBM academic initiative website FAQs for the same and it said that one must raise a support ticket in order to get it reactivated in this case.
So when I go to IBM cloud support page to raise ticket, a window pops up asking me to fill billing information (and is not optional), which I don't need to as I am a student.
So all in all I am unable to even raise a ticket. Can you tell me how you raised the ticket with a lite account? Also did you find the solution to the main issue ?
