  • 1.  Reports take long time to run in Edit mode in 11.2.4

    The reports in the new Cognos 11.2.4 environment are taking a long time to run in Edit mode; When run directly by clicking the report link, they run ok but they take a long time when run in Edit mode requiring frequent browser refresh. It is not a browser issue as the older environment we still have (11.1.7) does not have this issue.

    Please suggest how I can trouble shoot this problem.

    Hi Mack,

    What patch release are you on?  We're currently on 11.1.7 (FP6) in Production and are testing 11.2.4 FP3 to migrate probably next month.  I tested a few reports running in Edit mode on our 11.2.4.3 server vs just running normally and I'm not seeing any difference.  Might be worth opening a support ticket depending on how much it's impacting your team.
