Many of the methods to print or convert a Jupyter notebook require access to the notebook file. Is there any way in Cognos to print a notebook's results, export to PDF or even export the notebook itself?

    Hi Robert,

One option is to use reports to do the layout and printing of the content from your notebooks. Both reports and dashboards allow you to link/import (by reference) cells from your notebooks, and to use the layout tools from reports/dashboards to format your output. The idea (perhaps wrongly 😎) was that notebooks are not really intended as a reporting/layout tool and that the insights created in notebooks can be integrated into reports/dashboards for more appealing layout design for sharing with business users.

If you do want to export your notebooks out of CA, you can use the attached extension (exportNotebook.zip). After installing this extension to your CA instance,  it adds an "Export" menu item to the context menu for all notebooks in the CA content browser. Selecting the "Export" menu item will download the .ipynb file for the notebook to your computer.
