In the recent AMA it was mentioned that Windows Server 2022 was going to be supported.  For PAW, is this imminent or will this still be a few months off?

I have an early build of Planning Analytics Workspace 2.0.96 running on Windows Server 2022.   I cannot provide a guarantee, but it should be imminent (the 2.0.96 and 2.1.3 releases in late May).

    Hi Stuart,

2.0.96 was released on the 28th but I can't find anything that states support for Windows Server 2022 in the documentation or the What's New updates.

Can you confirm whether or not this made it into the release, and if not when you might be expecting it?

    Regards,

    George

    Hi George,

Windows Server 2022 is supported with PAW 2.0.96.   The supported environments page (https://www.ibm.com/software/reports/compatibility/clarity-reports/report/html/osForProduct?deliverableId=0C4568D098EC11E9A83D99924272C08A&osPlatforms=Linux|Windows&duComponentIds=D003|D002|D001|S008|S006|S007) is being updated this week.  You should see Windows Server 2022 support on this page by the end of this week.

Did you download PAW 2.0.96 from IBM Fix Central yet?  The kit for Windows Sevrer 2022 has win_2022 in the file name.

    Excellent news!

I haven't downloaded it yet, but will ensure I get the correct one now.

    Thanks Stuart!

    Hello Stuart,

we already have a 2.0.95 installation running on a Server 2022. Is there any specific procedure for upgrading to 2.0.96 now or just the usual procedure for upgrading PAW?

    Kind regards
    Matthias

    Hi Matthias,

Are you talking about PAW 2.0.95 on Windows Server 2022?  I didn't think this was possible.  Can you tell us which deployment kit you used (e.g the 2019 deployment kit)?

    Hi,

ah, sorry, you're right, I mixed that up. PAW was on RHEL 9.3, only all other components were already on Windows Server 2022.
