  • 1.  Navigation path drill-up reset filter

    Posted Thu June 23, 2022 02:32 PM
    Hello,
my problem is to reset the dynamic filter when drilling down and I want to go back to the total. example:
my navigation path total-country-city in the report from the total I go down to country level, then I select a country example arizona, to see the cities of arizona. if I return to the total from the navigation path, the report remains filtered on arizona. Is there a method to reset the filter automatically without opening the filter window and clearing the filter manually?
    thank you

    Hi Massimo,

Assuming you are working with a dashboard, you can use right click on a State from instance, and choose Navigate.

Here is an example regarding a navigation path with Product Line, Product Type and Product.

    Hi Massimo,

You need to click on Product Line for instance, then click on the following icon:I assume you are using a navigation path with Product Line, Product Type and Product.

    Best regards,

      Hello Patrick,
thanks to help me to found a solution.
if in the report I use the navigation path drill function, as you indicated in your image, the report is filtered see examples:
Select Camping Equipment to drill-down on product type
    image.png
now the report is filtered on camping equipments
    image.png
and now I drill up to product line
    image.png
the report if filtered on Camping equipment
image.pngto show all line, I need to delete manually the filter Camping equipments
My User doesn't want to click on the filter and manually delete the filter, my question:
is it possible to delete the filter automatically on drill-up?
    thank you

    Massimo,

It is not working the way I expected. I've tested with v11.2.2 and it is the same issue.

If you don't have any other filters, you can click on the filter icon then remove all filters.

    Best regards,
