  • 1.  Issue with Drill Process Using MDX Views Created in PAW

    Hi all,

    I've noticed an issue when using the drill option from a cube. If the drill process uses an MDX view created in PAW, it reports an error. However, if I create the view in Architect or PM, it works fine.

    Does anyone know why this happens?

    Unfortunately, drill-thru using MDX views is not supported, drill-thru using Native views is still supported and that's why it works w/ Architect. 

    My understanding is that it is on IBM's roadmap allow MDX drill-thru although no timeline provided yet.

    Hi Asgeir and Chris,

    Correct - just the native view are supported in the Drill-through, the MDX view support is in our roadmap to support.
