Hello Everybody,

An important change for us happens in the burst execution options between the 11.1.7 and the 11.2.4 version.

In 11.1.7, the user executing the burst could add manually some e-mail addresses even with the burst option enabled.

But in 11.2.4 when the burst option is enabled you cannot add any address.

A workaround is to add the recipients to the burst query but is clearly a lost for us.

I opened a case on IBM Support but I post here too in case.

I logged this 2 years ago - apparently it was unique to 11.1.7 IF2. Support told me it was a bug that it had sneaked into this specific release. What was strange to me, if this was an accidental bug/feature was that the input field was changed to say:

"Recipients outside the burst list will receive each burst report individually"

Which seems a very specific message for a bug.

I couldn't convince them that the removal of this feature was the bug, or that this was quite a useful new feature to have and removing it was a downgrade.

You can control bursting behavior with this setting:

RSVP.USE_EMAIL_TO_RECIPIENTS_ON_BURST
