  • 1.  How to extract details for all Cognos scheduled jobs along with the report parms?

    We are looking to extract details for all Cognos scheduled jobs along with the report parms, and the future scheduled dates/times, ect. Is there an SQL we can execute on the AUDIT schema, or perhaps a tool that will allow us to export these details into an Excel sheet? I see that I can get a list of jobs but not a way to get the underlying details (configuration) for each job.

    Hi Gerald,

    For such a task I prefere to use Motio PI (Free version) rather than querying the Content Store,  this will allow you to directly export to CSV the full schedule details (job , views, reports ... everything).

    It is still valid with Cognos Analytics v11.x.

    Hi Patrick,

    Audit database only gives past activities, schedules that didn't run yet will not appear here.
    The query needs to be done on the Content Store database wich is not easy, therefore i suggested to use a third party content manager exploration tool.
