Hi All,

I am new in Cognos and want to add Dynamic Total name as highlighted in below screenshot. Could anyone please suggest how to to do this?

Yes. I'll use Go Sales as an example.

My starting point is this simple crosstab:  

This produces an output looking like:

Nest product line within itself, underneath Product Type

Unlock the report using the padlock icon, Lock Page Objects, found in the top right hand corner of the report editor (next to the page design).

Drag a text item into the new product line cell, with the text Total in it.

This gives:

You can format this total row to make it stand out better.
