  • 1.  Consolidation of measure not populating

    I am having an issue with Consolidations. When I look at the asset record in question I can see it has a retired date of May-24. I can also see it in Ma-24 of the consolidated period of May-24-YTD but it is not listed at the top level.

    When I put this cube into a Cognos Report the date shows when I select the subset Current Fiscal Period YTD (which equals May-24 YTD) but it is not showing in the cube itself. I am now using PAW books to produce these reports because they have become too much for Cognos to handle but I am not seeing the same results.
    Is there a way to get the date pushed to the top level of the consolidation? It is also not working for my Quarter subsets the exact same way.
    Any help would be appreciated

    Hi Bret,

    I'm not too familiar with Cognos BI but in the TM1 engine it wont naturally consolidate strings.

    Is the "dateretired" measure a string?
