Hi,

I am having this error message with a Cognos Analytics v11.2.1 (11.2.1-2112131054) then I see the following error:
DPR-CMI-4006 Unable to determine the active Content Manager. Will retry periodically.
CM-SYS-5157 Content Manager failed to notify the dispatcher "http://localhost:9300/p2pd/servlet/dispatch" of a running status change. CM-CFG-5109 A problem occurred during initialization. IBM Cognos Access Manager sessions could not be created. Cause: CAM-CRP-1157 Unable to synchronize the local common symmetric keystore with Content Manager

This is a single computer. I didn't find relevant articles to fix this issue.

When I check the following URL: http://localhost:9300/p2pd/servlet, I have the following message:

Any idea?

What are you using for your content store database - is it DB2 by any chance?

IBM Cognos service does not start or fails after starting - IBM Documentation

This article suggests that a mismatch between your java version and DB2 could cause this error. Not sure if this is relevant to you?

Ok - that rules out the previous answer. Other things to look into - do you have a virus scanner or firewall running that might be interfering with communications on any of the ports Cognos uses to communicate with Informix?

Hello Patrick,

All CAM-CRP-115x messages point to a problem with the keystore. So, you might want to recreate the keystore.

I would also doublecheck the java version, allthough you are using informix.

I'm still looking for any idea in order to fix my issue. I've upgraded to Cognos Analytics v11.2.4.

From cogconfig.prefs, I confirm that I'm using the default Java vendor and version:
JavaVendor=IBM Corporation
JavaVersion=1.8.0_301

I'm wondering if playing with CMCAPACITY table would be a good option or running a script from <Cognos_Location>\configuration\schemas\content\informix?
