  • 1.  Calculated column doesn't display in PAW

    Hi,

    I am using PAW 2.0.73
    I was trying to create two calculated columns for comparing Budget and Actuals as:

    Budget - Actual
    Actual % of Budget

    The first calculation column is created with no problem, but when i create the second, it doesn't show up.
    I can see both the calculated columns in Subset editor

    When i remove suppress zeros from the column, then only the second calculate column show up.

    Any idea why is this happening?

    Hi Sudeep,

    I tried to recreate the issues you experienced with PAW 2.0.73 but I could not. Please see my screenshot below.

    Could you please remove your cube view from the book, add it back, and create calculated columns? 
    I wonder whether you will still have the issues if you work with a new cube view.

    You might also look at your PA Server version. There was a defect fixed in PA 2.0.9.11 related to calculated columns (nested) and another fixed related to zero suppression.

    Hi Sudeep,

    No problem.

    For your information, I am running IBM Planning Analytics Local version 2.0.9.12 and I use Google Chrome for PAW.
    If you are running an older PA version, you may want to consider upgrading PA. Restarting (or upgrading) PAW may be helpful if you think the issue is related PAW.
