Assistant in 11.1.7 does not recognize data items in a dataset in Dashbaord Module

    When I use the Assistant in the Dashboard Module on a dataset, I can use the "create dashboard" and it will produce a dashboard. When i enter a command like "show Sales by Product" (with autocomplete) i get the error message "Sorry, can't find Sales and Product in source DatasetDemov2." . In other datasets the assistant works, Any idea what is the error or other people encountered the same issue (assistant not recognizing the metadata? (also accessing the dataset through a data module does not solve the issue.
