I would like to raise a question about using regular/email accounts when connecting to IBM PA Cloud through TM1 REST API.
Currently we are forced to use non-interactive accounts and there is a limit to request <=100 accounts.
It significantly impacts clients using or developing 3rd party applications:
- they have to manage an extra set of accounts
- it complicates the audit & log tracing
- 100 accounts are not enough for some companies
I know there are some technical limitations for using Custom Java Authentication provider (CJAP) explained by
@Bernd Siebert here:
https://community.ibm.com/community/user/businessanalytics/discussion/multi-user-access-to-tm1py-on-cloudBut is it really something that complicated to solve for a software giant like IBM?
Also I would like to clarify what is the IBM license policy for using the same non-interactive account by multiple users?
Thanks!
