  • 1.  check feeders not working properly in PAL 2.0.9.4

    Hi, all
Just found an interesting issue, when a cell is definitely underfed (no feeder attaching to it and not showing in 0 suppression and can't be exported with 0 suppression), the check feeders showing nothing for it and I am expecting "No Fed" value for it but showing blank.
Tried unloading, deleting all persistent feeders and rebooting but no luck. Could it be a bug in this version? Thanks.

    Hi mvp m:

in the not-so-distant past I recall running into something similar where I could not generate any Check for a known unfed calculated cell.   My conclusion at the time was that the Check Feeders may not work for all calculations or complex cube dependencies.   I haven't worked with 2.0.9.4 in the last couple of years, so the case or two I recall occurred in later versions.
Not that this helps necessarily, but I just did a very simple test case in 2.0.9.8 and did get all expected fed/not fed indicators in the Check and Trace windows.

delete the rule and check if there is any static value in that cell
it will make the cell "fed" if a rule is assigned
