Cognos Analytics

Hi All,

The requirement is user will enter a comment ( in text box prompt) and that should be updated / inserted into a table in Db, Later it can be viewed as a report.
Also we need to capture the user who enter the comment and date. In order to achieve this we created a stored procedure and it was successfully validated in FM, post FM works when I try to use it in report studio the data is not written back to DB. 
Using session parameters we can capture the user name / mail ID, current date. But how can we pass this data into table?  Seeking for experts help.

What is the definition of the stored procedure in FM? It's been a while since I've worked with FM, but I believe there are two types. Data Entry and Query. If you're using this in Report Studio make sure it's the query type.
