Announcing IBM Db2 Data Management Console v.3.1.11

By VIJAYA KATIKIREDDY posted Thu March 23, 2023 10:51 PM

We are happy to announce the release of the Db2 Data Management Console v 3.1.11

The key features to highlight in this release include:

  • Users can now configure to further refine on how and when an alert is generated. This improvement allows users to get alerted only when an alert event occurs a specified number of times for a specified time-period.
    • Number of times an alert event should occur.
    • The time-period within which the total occurrences need to happen.
  • Db2 Data Management Console now supports additional schema privileges for Db2 v11.5.8 and later versions to allow users to manage database objects at a schema level.
  • Look and feel of Replication page is enhanced by adding dark theme support.
  • The Notification center now displays the time at which an alert was closed.
  • Alert notifications email subject is updated to use a consistent , easily understandable format for open and close alert notifications. For example.
<repo>: WARNING Alert 6127 Connection is opened.
<repo>: WARNING Alert 6127 Connection is closed.

This makes it easier for users to filter/sort/manage alert notifications and take appropriate actions.

@VIJAYA KATIKIREDDY what is the correct link to Data Management Console roadmap? This link http://ibm.biz/DMCRoadmap was mentioned in this video The DataView Show #6: Introducing the NEW IBM Data Management Console (DMC) but it is broken.

I temporarily changed the short link to point to Db2 Data Management Console space! But I want the correct link in order to update the short link.
