We are pleased to announce the launch of Linux for AIX System Administrators (course code LX073DG on IBM Digital Learning Platform, LX073CG on Coursera). This self-paced, 16-hour course is designed for AIX administrators who want to build a foundation in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration on IBM Power, with a focus on comparing AIX and Linux concepts through hands-on labs.
Learners will gain skills in Linux installation, logical volume and file system management, user and group administration, storage and swap configuration, Cron and Systemd usage, software management, networking, and backup and recovery. Successful completion earns the Linux for AIX System Administrators digital badge.
This course is also part of the Coursera specialization Linux and Private Cloud Administration on IBM Power Systems. The specialization introduces RHEL system administration using IBM Power servers, guiding learners from Linux command-line essentials through advanced administration tasks, while also supporting the transition from AIX to Linux, thanks to LX073CG.
