Planning Analytics SaaS will adopt 3.1 version numbers for Workspace and Planning Analytics for Excel starting in October 2025.  The 2.0.107 release in September is the last release to use a 2.0 version number.  The October update to Planning Analytics Workspace and Planning Analytics for Excel will be 3.1.2.  This change is being made to align versions of Workspace and Planning Analytics for Excel with new releases of same components in Planning Analytics Certified Containers product.  

Planning Analytics for Excel releases that are available for download from Planning Analytics Administration will be replaced with equivalent 3.1 releases.  Starting with the October update, the versions of Planning Analytics for Excel available for download will be 3.1.2, 2.0.107, and 2.0.106.  The next update to Planning Analytics SaaS will provide access to Planning Analytics for Excel versions 3.1.3, 3.1.2, and 2.0.107.  Updating to the latest version of Planning Analytics for Excel is always recommended.  Recent 2.0.xx releases of Planning Analytics for Excel will continue to work with Workspace 3.1.2 and later. 

The change to 3.1 versions in Planning Analytics SaaS does not change how product updates are delivered.  The Planning Analytics product team will continue to provide regular updates that add features and address known issues.  It is important to understand that all versions of Planning Analytics services and software in Planning Analytics SaaS environments are supported.  The change to version numbers in Planning Analytics SaaS does not impact the TM1 Database.
