I was not there when they called my name. On that day, I was caught in the middle of my life, battling the worst allergies, racing against time, trying to make it to the sandbox, and wondering if I was doing enough. Then, the messages started pouring in. Congratulations, pictures, kind words, and all while I was walking down the massive hallway, completely unaware that my name had been called for something bigger than I ever expected.

I never imagined I would be recognized that day. Watching the replay now, seeing the faces of so many brilliant and talented award recipients, I am filled with gratitude and awe. These are people who pour their hearts into this technology, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make the world just a little bit better one byte at a time. Their advocacy, their passion, their strength are all from the heart.

This recognition is not just about me. It is about all of us who show up every day, despite the noise, the distractions, and the challenges. It is about the moments we feel empowered to push forward and to give back. It is about gathering others who are interested along for the ride and allowing them to drive safely and securely in this modern car to their successful destination.  To everyone who shared this honor with me, and to those who took the time to reach out, you made this moment unforgettable. Thank you for reminding me that even on the days we feel off, life has a way of surprising us in the most beautiful ways.
