The Planning Analytics Connector for SAP is now available for Planning Analytics on Cloud Customers!

We are excited to announce compatibility of the IBM Planning Analytics Connector for SAP with IBM Planning Analytics on Cloud.

This connector supports encrypted data flow to and from SAP and IBM Planning Analytics without persisting the data. It is built using Open Data Protocol (OData) for compatibility with all in-market OData SAP data sources that support either v1 and/or v2 of SAP OData Gateway. This translates to support for SAP ERP solutions and SAP data sources such as ECC, BW, S4, SAC, s4/HANA and HANA Cloud.

The IBM Planning Analytics Connector for SAP was originally released for on-premise usage and is now available for both Planning Analytics local and Planning Analytics on Cloud through IBM Passport Advantage and is licensed based on the number and types of SAP environments.

Are there any experiences or known constraints for the number of data sets?

Thanks,

Appreciate if you can provide the part number for SAP connector on PA on Cloud. Will the subscription be based on 1 unit only, or based on some other metrics e.g. per cloud instance?

Is one part number and one unit covering one production cloud instance and its corresponding non-production cloud instance, or is there another part number of non-prod?

Thanks.

But not for PA SaaS. Correct? That means it is not v12 ready?
