Dear users,
We are on the eve of our next user group, and the good news is that we already have many delegates registered. There are still places left, but they are filling up quickly! So don’t hesitate to register at: https://www.imwuc.org/p/su/rd/survey=2b772248-1e0f-11e7-b433-bc764e110cc2. Registration will close on Thursday 4th May.
The agenda is strong, and for the first time, we are sharing the day with our Tririga colleagues. The keynote will be a joint presentation before we split into Maximo and Tririga streams. This is just a toe in the water for now, but we may move closer together in future.
We will also be trying a new departure, in holding two parallel Q&A sessions; one for looking at Maximo applications, and one for Websphere. This is a chance for users to meet the experts, and raise any issues or queries they may have.
The full agenda is:
09:30 - Arrival, tea & coffee
10:00 - Opening address
10:15 - Keynote including Q&A from Stan Tims, IBM Program Director, Product Management. Stan will outline how Maximo and Tririga help deliver the IoT strategy and what synergies the two bring.
11:15 - Tea/coffee break
11:45 – How Ervia upgraded to Maximo 7.6, deployed on Linux. Our own committee member, Sarah Gleeson, will share how Ervia upgraded on the alternative OS.
12:15 - Q&A sessions. Two breakouts, one looking at the functionality (familiar and less so) in the Location and Asset applications (with Cyrus Sorab from IBM & Andrew Jeffery from Capgemini). The other will focus on getting the best from Websphere (led by Gerald Fulleylove from IBM). Both will feature live demos, and plenty of opportunity to ask questions!
12.55 - Lunch
14:00 – Infinis and their upgrade of Maximo and deployment of Fingertip mobile solution. Debbie Bell from Infinis will share a story that will be relevant to many.
14:40 – Vinci facilities management and Splunk. Steve Poore from Vinci and Mark Robbins from Vetasi will discuss and demonstrate the use of the Splunk performance monitoring tool to monitor Maximo and Websphere performance.
15:20 - Closing
We’ve also reduced the event by one presentation to allow more time for networking.
The event is kindly being sponsored by BPD Zenith, Peacock Engineering, and Vetasi.
So please register now, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Best regards,
Sam
