Hello,
I’m Rituraj Mahato, IBM zSystems Ambassador Captain from India. A fun fact about me is I am a tech enthusiast who never stops learning and is constantly looking for new opportunities and learning environments. I started my mainframe journey in February this year, it all stated with networking with talented peer group and fantastic people at IBM. In the whole process, I improved my mainframe knowledge and communication skills till a point where I can give more than 1 hour sessions on mainframe and enterprise computing without any issue. As the year is coming to an end. I think it's good to look back at what I've done and hope to do in the future. I've had the amazing support of YourBigYear and IBM to grow professionally in the field of enterprise computing. I earned my Concepts Badge and Advanced Badge in March and August respectively.
I along with my ambassador peers (Vikrant Panjiyar and Kiruthika S) organised IBM zSystems Ambassador group event based on the theme: "Artificial Intelligence”, where we invited Rohan Kumar Yadav - PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Research Fellow at CAIR, University of Agder, Norway as the keynote speaker for the event.

I did a session along with Sudharsana Srinivasan and Abhi Saxena on Sept. 15 for IBM zStudent Contest Accelerator on IBM Z Day! This was definitely a big achievement for me, speaking at a global conference along with great people. We discussed the IBM zStudent Contest and the IBM Z Xplore Platform. I had to contribute towards the technical part, together with the great company by Sudharsana Srinivasan who explained what the contest is and an introduction to IBM zSystems and Enterprise Computing, the participation of Abhi Saxena from the Shooting Stars Foundation was a great add-on to our session. It was indeed a great opportunity that was given to the students and IBM zSystems Ambassadors.
I always focus on the motto: “Tech For Good” and amazed to see how technology brings people together. I generally do most of the advocacy on LinkedIn so here I am sharing links to some of the best posts which I created this year-

This year, I also got many technical and recognition badges issued by IBM. My recognition badges includes IBM zSystems Global Student Contributor, IBM zDay 2022 Speaker Advocate and IBM Z and LinuxOne Community Contributor 2022.
My technical badges includes Concepts Badge, Advanced Badge, IBM zSystems Resiliency Badge, IBM SkillsBuild - Agile Explorer and Cybersecurity Fundamentals Badge, IBM zSystems Cybersecurity Insights Badge respectively.
Not only have I improved my technical skills, but by planning events, and working with others I became a better leader. My plans for the future includes more events in-person, learning and completing courses on IBM Interskill and advocate about mainframes and enterprise computing.
Thank You!
