Customers from 57 enterprise companies recently joined with consultants, partners, industry analysts, and IBM developers to fill out the IBM Silicon Valley Lab in San Jose, California for the October 3-5, 2023, iteration of the IBM Data Tech Summit sponsored by IDUG.
Attendees from five continents were present, including participants from Brazil, Germany, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Qatar, and more!
The conference featured both a 1.5 day agenda executive track hosted in the IBM SVL Executive Briefing center, focused on IBM Z data and watsonx, plus a technical track for data professionals.
So many wanted to attend that every seat was filled in the executive briefing center, and the same was true for many of the technical track sessions. We even had to shut down the event registration early because we reached the maximum capacity of the IBM SVL facilities.
The technical track included a full 2.5-day agenda for data professional to immerse themselves in new IBM capabilities across Data and AI, including many sessions presented by IBM subject matter experts, industry partners, and customers, plus hands-on labs, and the always popular Db2 Experts Panel (as posted in the World of Db2 for z/OS and its Ecosystem LinkedIn group).
Attendees enjoyed visiting SVL and rubbing elbows with IBM subject-matter experts, and many posted about their positive experiences at the lab in social media.
If you were unable to attend this year (and even if you did), mark your calendars for the next IBM Data Tech Summit from October 8-10, 2024, and stay tuned for registration details. In the meantime, also consider registering to attend these two upcoming webcasts:
