Optional components

IP Allow list can be enabled (if required).  This prevents IPs outside certain ranged from accessing Planning Analytics.  IF you have users who regularly work from home or need access from locations outside your organisation such as an internet café then it is hard to ensure an IP range so thought should be taken as to if an IP allow list is required.

A Non interactive account can be enabled (if required).  General logins to Planning Analytics use IBMid,  this requires a user to interactively log in. For tasks that require non interactive access such as using the restAPI or other batch processes a non interactive account is required.  (If this is not enabled a support ticket should be raised to have it enabled)

Other Optional tools such as Cognos Integration server or Cognos Command Center may also be required but are outside the scope of this blog.
