Daily Work in IBM Identity Governance and Intelligence (hereafter called IGI), is an aggregation of all tasks to be performed irrespective of the activity or process.
This post intends to share, how one can configure Daily Work workflow from the Process Designer and how it could be used in the Request Center along with its significance.
Using Daily Work, one can can view a summary of the generated requests in one’s approval scope. It displays a list of submitted requests. This allows one to take an appropriate action on the request, like APPROVE, REJECT or REDIRECT.
One can also view the list of requests in the “Request Report” workflow, but no action can be taken on the requests, as it is just used for viewing the requests.
For the purpose of this post, IGI 5.2.5 has been used, however, the older versions would behave the same. One may however, find significant differences in the UI. Here, I will cater to both the new UI of the Request Center as well as the old one.
Configuration of Daily Work workflow:
Although a DAILY WORK workflow is available out of the box, for the purpose of this post, a new workflow for daily work shall be created.
There are 2 personas involved,

Fig. 4
