Hello SOAR Community! 

The SOAR team is excited to announce the first release of our new Connector Functions experience for IBM Security QRadar SOAR! The driving force behind this new capability is to empower clients to add new functions, in a Low Code experience, through the import of an OpenAPI specification file.

Client Outcomes:

• A new way to add functions and run on Cloud-Native environments through a Low Code experience, without the need to build or deploy an application on an Edge Gateway/App Host. 
  

• Once you import the new function(s), using an OpenAPI specification file, you can easily configure it within Playbook Designer’s Data Navigator experience for use in your Playbook.

• For automation engineers more comfortable with using Python to configure functions, we will still support the scripting capability within Playbook Designer.

Clients of the following SOAR deployments can begin to use our Connector Functions capability from the Playbook Designer canvas:
