The IBM Financial Services Cloud Council returned to IBM’s impressive office space at One Madison Avenue in New York City for this year’s event. 60+ representatives from financial services organizations, regulators, technology partners and trade associations were in attendance. The event’s theme focused on Empowering Growth: Building Resilient, Innovative Cloud & AI Agendas. The rapid acceleration of AI, coupled with cost pressures and sophisticated cyber threats, brings a unique set of challenges for CIOs, CTOs, CISOs and risk leaders across the banking sector. Practical approaches to operating in the current environment and leading the innovation agendas required to succeed were central to the conversations and debates over the two-day event.

Speakers joined from Vanguard, Royal Bank of Canada, TD Bank Group, Intel, Form3, Sirion and Citi.
Discussions focused on:

The day two conversations covered:

•    opportunities for public sector and private sector partnerships to bring a secure adoption of AI and cloud.
•    building a secure, compliant, modern financial services delivery model to address the growing risk in the software supply chain and SaaS as a default delivery for software.
