IBM® Releases Security Enhancements to z/OS® v2.5 in 2nd Quarter 2023

Continuing is its long-tradition of increased security enhancements, IBM’s newest 2Q release includes
 increased tracker technology and digital signatures. 

IBM now has z/OS Change Tracker available as a z/OSMF plug-in.  z/OS Change Tracker provides a
graphical user interface for tracking and monitoring changes across software libraries and configuration data sets.

IBM has also released digital signatures for z/OSMF ServerPac and CBPDO software packages. The z/OS software
packages produced for z/OSMF ServerPac and CBPDO orders are now digitally signed by IBM and designed to
provide higher security and integrity standards for clients.
