December 2021 documentation refresh for Enterprise COBOL for z/OS, 6.2 and 6.1

Enterprise COBOL for z/OS 6.2 and 6.1 documentation is refreshed today, to include the following enhancements:

PH42575: The following messages are updated to report additional information and return codes:

Documentation fixes in COBOL 6.2:
  • In Programming Guide:
    • Updated the note for INVDATA(CLEANSIGN|NOCLEANSIGN). (INVDATA)
    • Added a link to the example showing that a recursive program uses both WORKING-STORAGE and LOCAL-STORAGE. (Identifying a program as recursive)
    • Added clarification to INLINE/NOINLINE option. (INLINE)
    • Added restrictions to INITCHECK option that a data item will be considered to have its address taken, if this data item is in a group with other items that have had their address taken. (INITCHECK)
