Enterprise COBOL for z/OS, V6.3 documentation are refreshed today, to include the following enhancements:
 
Enhancements in COBOL 6.3 with PTFs installed: (For a complete list of Enterprise COBOL PTFs, check https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/604539):

• PH40356: Officially supported ZON(LAX|STRICT) option to avoid numchecking of the sender in zoned to zoned move. (NUMCHECK)
• PH40311: A new DATA directive is added, and is supported when LP(64) is in effect. (DATA)
• Runtime APAR PH37101(V2R3/V2R4): An enhancement is made to assist COBOL programs running in AMODE 31 to interact with  programs in AMODE 64. (COBOL programs in AMODE 31 interacting with Java programs in AMODE 64)
• Runtime APAR PH40348 (V2R3/V2R4): Dynamic call is supported in a mixed AMODE31/AMODE64 environment. (COBOL applications with mixed AMODE 31 and AMODE 64 programs)

Documentation fixes:
- In Programming Guide:

• Clarified the effects of termination statements. (Ending and reentering main programs or subprograms)

-In Language Reference:

• Explained that the INTDATE compiler option affects the starting date for the integer date functions. (INTEGER-OF-FORMATTED-DATE)
