This post is a followup to the post about controlling the size of your Content Store:
https://community.ibm.com/community/user/businessanalytics/blogs/luke-peterson/2019/10/09/content-maintenance-and-content-store-size
We learned that report outputs that are no longer displayed to end users (due to the properties setting for number of occurrences) will not be removed from the Content Store unless an administrator runs a maintenance task.
This document steps through the process to move expired output to an external repository. For simplicity, in this example the external repository is disk. This method demonstrates how to setup the disk repository and how to mark report output to be moved to the filesystem. Administrators should consider this as a key component of an overall methodology for maintaining the health of the system and optimal size of the content store.
