As organizations manage more and more critical business content in IBM FileNet Content Manager, collaboration and security become important features of their content services platform. In today’s global economy it is often imperative that organizations be able to share content and collaborate with external parties securely without having to produce duplicate copies of the content and share through less secure channels. FileNet provides granular security options to confidently share enterprise content with external users.

The demo below shows how a user can share a folder with an external agency with an expiration date at which point the external user will no longer have access to the content. We’ll see how the external user can access the folder through the Navigator portal in order to add additional files needed by the organization.
