z/OS Connect 3.0.89 is now available

z/OS Connect 3.0.89 is now available with enhanced versions of the z/OS Connect API provider and the z/OS Connect API requester Gradle plug-ins and an upgrade to the version of Liberty that is embedded in z/OS Connect. There are also APAR fixes for the z/OS Connect zosConnect-2.0 base feature and for the z/OS Connect zosConnect-3.0 base feature. For more information, see PH64407: z/OS Connect V3.0.89. Enhancements

The version of the API provider Gradle plug-in is upgraded to 1.4.8.
The version of the API requester Gradle plug-in is upgraded to 1.2.2.
The version of Liberty that is embedded in IBM z/OS Connect is upgraded to 24.0.0.12. For more information, see What is new in this release of Liberty in the WebSphere Application Server for z/OS Liberty documentation.
The z/OS Connect API provider Gradle plug-in and the z/OS Connect API requester Gradle plug-in have been enhanced with the addition of two new optional attributes, extendFieldNames and groupSuffix. These attributes are set in the options.yaml file and enable the customization of the z/OS Connect artifacts from an OpenAPI3 definition.

Fixes

PH60139 - Parsing values for the same key is not policed for z/OS Connect API providers.
PH63651 - An IMS API requester application uses the PSB name as the asserted identify.
PH64714 - IBM z/OS Connect Additional Properties support has a dependency on API requester Gradle plug-in inlineMaxOccursLimit property setting. For more information about using additionalProperties, see Using additionalProperties.
